It’s nice to get a surprise gift from someone who knows you well

And it’s not even an early Christmas present! It’s a just because present. Hooray!

My parents went on an overseas holiday earlier this year. They returned with nice presents for all children and grandchildren. I scored a gorgeous top, a belt and some jewellery, Cameron got a nice Italian leather belt, and Ashleigh received a plate, a spoon, a pinafore and a copy of Mme Princesse.

Fantastic presents, and I in no way mean to suggest that these weren’t lovely and appreciated. Because they were both these things. But the best was yet to come.

It turns out that mum and Matt bought up big while they were in the UK and arranged a shipment home. This shipment hit the shore only recently. And here’s a little extra something that they had bought me:
