Hello! Thanks for dropping by today.
I usually supply a list of my favourite reads of the week on Sunday. But I’ve had a crazy week. Cuh. Razy.
So I haven’t read much on the interwebs. I have, however, selected the two winners from my recent International Book Giving Day giveaway. Amanda won a copy of The Wonky Donkey with this entry on the blog:
I’d love “The Wonky Donkey” to give to my 3 daughters to share (ages 6, 3, 2) because everytime when one of them has an accident (for want of a better word he he he) we scream “Stinky, Stinky, Stonky, Daddy bought a Donkey, Donkey Died, [insert at fault name here], Stinky, Stinky Stonky” and Mummy gets a high five if she can clean it up before the song finishes. Some family traditions are strange and cannot be explained, like that. The book would make us giggle.
And Emma won a copy of I Want My Hat Back with this entry on facebook:
I would LOVE to win a copy of “I want my hat back,” the funniest children’s book EVER!! Hmm…or is it really a growns up’s book masquerading as a children’s book? When we got this one from the library, hubby and I were rolling around on the floor laughing but Miss Munchkin was too young to really get it. Hubby even took it in to show the guys at his work, but I don’t think they fully appreciated it. I was starting to think we were the only devotees – good to see that you and your family also know a classic when you see one. Anyway, I think MM might be old enough to appreciate this now – would be awesome to have our own copy.
Congratulations, ladies! And thank you to everyone who entered.

Today is the final day of DonateLife Week, so if you haven’t already, please take the time to consider registering to become an organ donor.
And, whatever your decision, remember to discuss it with your family so that they can act on your behalf if the time comes.

And finally, one of the few things I saw on the web this week. A funny read from Chris Taylor of The Chaser fame: Chris Taylor vs Wild.
Read. Laugh. Enjoy.
Happy weekend, everyone.
